Amy Frances Mary Stolz

Amy Frances Mary Stolz, 58, of Altoona, peacefully passed away June 7, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Durbin C. Jr. and Marjorie L. (Lumadue) Hoffman.

She married Gregory J. Stolz on Oct. 3, 1987, in Altoona.

Survived are her husband, Greg; two daughters, Sarah Frances M. and Olivia C.; a son, Jonathon G.; a granddaughter, Katella S. Butler; six sisters: Marjorie L. (Bill) Weible, Cecilia (Thomas) Shannon, Beverly (Keith) Elder, Lucinda M. (Tom) Royal, Ellen R. (Mark) Glunt and Jennifer D. Schramke; a brother, Alan Christopher (Jenifer) Hoffman; Greg’s parents, John A. and Nancy Stolz; sisters-in-law, Julie L. (Greg) Corbin and Renee M. (Bill) Calvert; and 23 nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Bayer; and brother, Durbin W. Hoffman. 

Amy was a member of the Swiss Rifle Club.

She was a graduate of Altoona Area High School, Class of 1983. 

Amy enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings. 

A celebration of her life will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17^th St., Altoona, where a eulogy will be given by Mark Glunt at 2 p.m.
