Ann C. Prugar, 71, Hollidaysburg, passed away at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Zita (Airhart) Miller.
On Sept. 29, 1973, she married John P. Prugar at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, John of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Jessica (John) Arbogast of Duncansville; a son, Andrew (Emily) Prugar of Silver Spring, Md.; four grandchildren: Eric and Alex Arbogast and Maya and Benjamin Prugar; three sisters:
Patricia (Rocco) DePiro, Marty (Robert) Van Ormer and Diane (Michael) Didigiacobbe; and five brothers: Ralph (Susan) Miller, Steve (Laurie) Miller, Tim (Stacey) Miller, John Miller, and Louis Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Janet Mickey.
She was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School. She retired as a medical secretary employed by Dr. Francis and Dr. William Aigner. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her four grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing cards and gardening.
A private viewing and funeral will be held by the family.
Committal will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Altoona.
