ANNA J. NOEL (HALERZ)

Anna J. (Halerz) Noel, 100, of Hollidaysburg, peacefully passed away Thursday evening at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg. Anna was born in Coupon, daughter of the late Stanley and Joanne (Adamczyk) Klisiewicz. 

Anna was first married to John S. Halerz in 1943 in Chicago, Ill. He died May 19, 1984. She then married Frank E. Noel, on June 22, 1996, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He also preceded her in death. 

Surviving are a daughter, Carol Werkmister; a son, Edward "Ed" Halerz; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sophie Yartin. 

She was also preceded in death by her sons, Stan Halerz and John Halerz; brothers: Stanley Klisiewicz, John Klisiewicz, Frank Klisiewicz and Peter Klisiewicz; and sisters, Mary Pinowaski, and Victoria Reighard. 

Anna enjoyed baking, especially wedding cakes, sewing, and bowling. 

She was a member of VFW Post # 3, Bavarian Hall Auxiliary, Golden Nuggets and Horseshoe Seniors, and a life-member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Brotherhood. 

Mrs. Noel was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, and Our Lady of Fatima Parish Rosary Society. 

A private visitation and service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Altoona, Pa..
