BRIAN PATRICK HATCH

July 18, 1969 — March 6, 2021

Brian Patrick Hatch, 51, of East Freedom, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home. He was born in Bellflower, Calif., son of David Eugene Hatch and Carol Ann Champeno.

He is survived by a daughter, Karis Anne Hatch; a son, Tanner O’Brian Kaurudar; his parents; a sister, Renee Michelle Sergent (Kevin); brothers, David Burton Hatch and William Lee Hatch; a sister, Amanda Suzanne Champeno; and nieces and nephews: Erika M. Sergent, Abigail R. Sergent, Baylee A. Sergent, Luke H. Sergent, Justine R. Champeno; Alyssa L. Hatch and Abigayle F. Rhodes; and a beloved friend, Irene C. Ball.

Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin Ryan Champeno.

He was very funny and charismatic.  He would light the room up when he walked in. He had many friends and is fondly remembered for his passionate conversations. He was a self-taught guitar player and enjoyed playing for friends and family. He also loved Jeopardy, tennis, crossword puzzles, and cooking. He was an excellent cook. His specialties were pizza and stromboli.

Brian followed the Buddhist faith.

Family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona. COVID-19 regulations with masks and social distancing will be followed.

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family by Michael Blackie.
