Caryl M. 'Peggy' Bayer

Caryl Margaret “Peggy" Bayer 77, of Altoona, died Tuesday evening at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Lingenfelter) Carberry. She married Allan Lee Bayer on July 12, 1996, in Winchester, Va.

 Surviving are her husband, Allan; a daughter, Beth (Scott) Seeley; a stepson, Nicholas Bayer; and granddaughters, Alexandra French and Danielle Seeley. Peggy was a teacher’s aide at Altoona Area High School. She enjoyed her horse, roller skating, and her dog, Molly. She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, Class of 1966.                                                                                                                                                At the request of the deceased, there will be no service. 

Inurnment at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorial donations be sent to Pinnacle Catholic Hospice, 210 E. Plank Road, Suite 10, Altoona, PA 16602.
