DAVID RICHARD 'DICK' FOUSE SR.

David Richard 'Dick' Fouse, Sr., 83, Altoona, passed away Thursday evening at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Harold Bechtel and Pearl M. (Frederick) Fouse. He married Millie J. Longstreth on May 14, 1950, at Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren. She preceded him in death on Dec. 23, 2011.

Surviving are four sons: James R. (Barbara L.), David R. Jr. (Jenie), Craig A. and Steven C. (Lori F.); 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Hupert; and a brother, Kenneth Clair.

Dick was a truck mechanic, employed by Lafferty Trucking and Heislers International Trucking Co.

Dick was a member of Altoona Bible Church and East End United Methodist Church. He liked to help his family, neighbors and people that needed help.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to East End United Methodist Church, 405 E. Hudson Ave., Altoona, PA 16602.
