Dawn Marie "Re" (Rowland) Leib, 56, Altoona, after a decade long battle with cancer, finally succumbed to the disease on Thursday morning, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Donald and Maryann (Kabello) Rowland.
Surviving are two daughters: Kayla Leib (Jeremy Green) and Leah (Camden) Foreman; a grandson, Robert "Robbie" Hartz V; her parents, Donald and Maryann Rowland; a sister, Dana (Ron) Smith; two brothers: John (Melissa) Rowland and Dr. Zane (Natalie) Gates; her beloved boyfriend, Ron Santoni; a niece, Gabrielle Nalley; an uncle, Lou Kabello; and countless others who came to regard her as a friend.
She was a 1981 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was employed by Kohl's as an administrative assistant.
Dawn was artistic and enjoyed bringing her creations to life. She was an avid horse lover and excelled at horse backing riding. She also loved spending time in her garden, riding her motorcycle, seeing concerts and spending time with her family, who she absolutely adored.
She also enjoyed volunteering with "Kohl's A-Team" events every opportunity she had and was always willing to help anyone.
At her request, there will be no visitation.
