DURBIN W. "UNCLE' HOFFMAN
May 27, 1949 — September 6, 2018
Durbin W. "Uncle" Hoffman, 69, Altoona, passed away at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Durbin C. Jr. and Marjorie L. (Lumadue) Hoffman.
Surviving are seven sisters: Cecilia (Thomas) Shannon, Marjorie L. (Bill) Weible, Beverly (Keith) Elder, Lucinda M. (Tom) Royal, Ellen R. (Mark) Glunt, Amy Frances (Gregory) Stolz and Jennifer D (Brian) Schramke; a brother, Alan Christopher (Jenifer); and 17 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Bayer.
Durbin was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. He retired from Berwind Railway in 2000. He enjoyed gardening and photography.
Memorial service will be held September 29, 2018 at 11:00am At Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc. by Pastor Stephen Durr. Private inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.
