FRANCES NANCY (SMEAL) SPECKHART

Frances Nancy (Smeal) Speckhart, 80, Altoona, died Monday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Augustine B. and Sarah E. (McGinnis) Smeal. 

Surviving are her husband, John J. Speckhart, who she married Oct. 23, 2015; two nephews: Christian T. (Amanda) Smeal and Corey L. Smeal; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Lucille M. Fawks, Terry L., Ralph N. and Bill.

Frances was an LPN at Altoona Hospital and a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. 

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Private inurnment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. 

In lieu of flowers, Frances requested memorial donations be sent for Masses.
