FRANK JOSEPH 'JAKE' JARKIEWICZ

Frank Joseph ‘Jake’ Jarkiewicz, 94, of Altoona, died at his residence.

Jake was born in Altoona the son of the late Andrew and Ann (Iwan) Jarkiewicz.   Survived by his wife: Verna J. (Radwanski) Jarkiewicz married on June 11, 1947, one daughter: Diane Miller (Tim), one son: Francis ( Lori), one sister: Catherine Gruber, Nine grandchildren, Twenty-One Great Grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by his Sister, Ann Cawley, and Sister, Sophie Marshall.  He was a Setup of Machines, employed by SKF Industries.  He served during World War II in the Marine Corps from 12/13/1942 to 5/5/1946 as a Sergeant. An Altoona High school graduate. Former member of Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church and Our Lady of Fatima Parish.

Friends received from 9;30 to 10;30 am Monday June 25, 2018 at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc. 1204 – 17th Street Altoona, Pa.  Where a funeral service outside of mass will be held at 10:30 am by Msgr. Robert Mazur.
