FRANKLIN D. BENTON SR.

Franklin D. 'Frank' Benton, Sr., 85, Altoona, passed away Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Ralph and late Elsie Mae (Campbell) Benton. 

Surviving are one daughter, Carol; two sons: Franklin D. (Kim) Benton Jr. and Henry (Nick) Benton; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina; and six siblings: Charles, Raymond, Donald, Mildred, Ruth and Margaret.

Frank retired from Blair Sign as a laborer.

He enjoyed camping and sitting with his two dogs.

A service and interment were privately held due to the recent COVID-19 recommendations. Arrangements are by Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona.
