Genevieve Virginia Mills, 87, Altoona, died Monday evening at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Grover C. and Mary Rose (Banko) Jones. She married James E. Mills on March 8, 1950, in Altoona, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1987.
Surviving are two brothers-in-law: Raymond F. Mills and Frank H. “Pete†Mills and wife, Nancy; two sisters-in-law: Ruth R. Mills and A. Marie Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Jones and Grover “Casey†Jones Jr.; a sister, Jennie; as well as her dog, Charlie, whom she missed greatly.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. by Father Christopher Panagopolos. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
