GERALDINE L. ROBUCK

Geraldine L. Robuck, 82, formerly of Altoona, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 23, 2013, in State College, PA.
She was born on September 14, 1930, in Altoona, daughter of the late Francis and Helen Carothers. She married Frank A. Robuck September 14, 1955, in Winchester, VA.
Geraldine was a professional mom whose life revolved around her family. She enjoyed a lifetime of travel and recently moved to State College, a town that she had always loved, to enjoy life as she got older. She was anxious to be reunited in Heaven with her husband Frank and twin brother Gerald. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side and was able to hold her newborn great granddaughter in her arms for the very first time before she moved on. Her greatest joy in life was life itself and the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
She was a 1950 graduate of Altoona High School.
Surviving are her son Joseph and his wife Sharon, of Atlanta; grandsons Christopher Robuck and Matthew Robuck, granddaughter-in-law Casey Robuck and great granddaughter Ella Grace Robuck of Atlanta; daughter Barbara Robuck of State College; and Rod Wheeler of State College, who she thought of as a son.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and committal will be at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery Endowment, 2010 12th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
