Gloria Jean Lightner

Gloria J. Lightner, 82, of Altoona, passed away Friday morning at Maple Winds Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Portage. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn (Johns) Criswell. 

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy J. Peters and Billie Jo (Jeff) Fry; and a son, Bucky Lightner, all of Altoona; a grandson Brian (Tracy) Peters; four sisters: Nita Graham, Lucinda Attwood, Ella Mae Heacox and Lee Andra Heacox, 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Louis Warren Heacox; her siblings: Thomas Criswell, Beverly Shaw, Carmen Bickel, Edward Criswell, Tom Criswell, Louis Warren Heacox Jr. and Denise Heacox. 

Gloria was employed by Anderson Electronic working on calibrating machinery. 

She enjoyed shopping, and especially loved being with her children, grandson and her siblings. 

To honor Gloria’s wishes there will be no services.
