HELEN R. FAUST

Helen R. Faust, 97, of Amber Terrace, formerly of 2312 12th Ave., Altoona, died Saturday afternoon at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late James A. and Rebecca J. (Ritter) Porter.  She married William E. Faust  on Jan. 25, 1941, in Altoona.  He preceded her in death on April 10, 1996.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Rowland and husband, Bob, of Carlisle; two sons: William J. and Richard A. Faust and wife, Patricia, all of Altoona; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Helen was a member of Second Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts, word puzzles and playing cards.
Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th Street, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held  at 1 p.m. by Pastor Gregory Johnson..
Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Second Avenue United Methodist Church Youth Group.
