JAMES C. "PAPPY J." "JIMMY" LYSK
James C. “Jimmy” “Pappy J.” Lysk, 77, of Altoona, passed away Dec. 18, 2022, at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Cresson, son of the late Walter Sr. and Mary (Burick) Lysk.
Surviving is a daughter, Karen Ann Lysk, of Altoona; a son, Stephen G. (Lisa) Lysk, of Dysart; and two grandchildren, Dakota Hollabaugh and Elijah Hollabaugh.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Jr.
Jimmy was previously employed as a machinist at Conrail.
He was a very active member at Grace Bible Church.
At the request of the deceased, there was no viewing. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Grace Bible Church, 164 Laurel Lane, Hollidaysburg, with Pastor Lou Hileman officiating. Private committal was held at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona.
