John 'Jack' R. Corle

April 30, 1950 — February 25, 2024

 John R. “Jack” Corle 73, of Altoona, peacefully passed away Sunday morning atGarvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Dirvin and Grace (Wertz) Corle.

He married Carol Ann Mosney on July 3, 1971, at Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Jack was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church.

He worked as an electrician for 40 years at both Blair Electric and Lincoln Contracting in Boswell.

Jack was a member of the Mine Workers of America Union.

He enjoyed cars, hunting, and watching television.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; and a sister, Nancy Hopkins.

Friends will be received from 10 until the funeral service outside of Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, with Father Nelson Javier TOR.

Committal at Alto-Reste Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Garvey Manor Actives Fund, 1037 S. Logan Blvd., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
