John W. Steele Jr.
September 25, 1970 — April 5, 2023
John W. Steele Jr., 52, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at Altoona UPMC. He was born in Altoona, the son of John W. Sr. and Linda Brawley Steele.
He married Ann M. Perkins on Sept. 16, 2006.
John is survived by his wife, Ann; three daughters: MacKenzie, Savanna and Emily; his parents, John Sr. and Linda; a sister, Raylene (Jeff) Vahey; a brother, Scott; and two nieces, Sarah and Breanna.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William.
John was a retired truck driver. He was also an avid fan of the Mets, Steelers, Penguins and Florida State.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, with Pastor Thomas Kurtz.
Private interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
