JOSEPH H. HIGHDUCH

Joseph H. Highduch, 83 of Altoona passed away Friday morning at Golden Living Center- Hillview.

He was born in Antis Township, son of the late Charles and Fannie (Moryken) Highduch. He married Linda R. Watson on April 24, 1967, at Wheeling, W.V.

He is survived by his wife; two sons: Jason and wife, Kara, of Reading and Joseph of Philadelphia; two grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Lauren; and a sister, Lillian Ilian, of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Julia Bobnis, Mary Novak, Anna Hlavati, Janet 'Sophie' Postrich, John L. and Michael.

He was employed by Procter Silex as a machine operator.

Joe enjoyed gardening.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday July 6, 2015, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. by Pastor Mary Emery.
