Josephine T. Pleva

Mrs. Josephine T. Pleva age 83, of Altoona, formerly of Coupon, died Monday evening at Altoona Center for Nursing Care. Born in Altoona, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Pleva) Kolarczyk. She married Michael Pleva who preceded her in death. Survived by one daughter: Michelle Weidlich of Columbia , PA, four sons: David Kolarczyk and his wife Teresa of Altoona, Michael Pleva and his wife Diane of Waldorf, MD, Gary Pleva of Claysburg, PA., Timothy of Columbia, Pa., 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. An a sister: Sophia Smithmyer of Bearfoot Bay Florida. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Coupon. Josephine enjoyed bingo and grandchildren & great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Thursday 12;30 till of services Friday at the Stanley J.
