Judith A. Werner

 Judith Ann (Sipes) Werner, 79, of Altoona, passed away on the morning of June 12, 2024, at Penn Highlands-Huntingdon. Judy was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Jack and Gloria (Clifford) Sipes. She was the eldest of their 11 children.

 She married James M. Werner on June 29, 1968. He preceded her in death in March of 2024.

 Judith was preceded in death by siblings, Barbara Ickes and Jack Jr.

 She is survived by her eldest son, Eric J. and his wife, Heidi S., Werner and their children: Barend M. and Lowen F.; and youngest son, Michael J. and his wife, Robin A. Werner; and siblings: Gloria Rinehart, Barry, Daniel, Shirley Tussey, Thomas, Ronald, Paul, and Carol.

 Judy was a 1962 graduate of Altoona High School.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Judy worked as a secretary in the Engineering Department for Penelec and as a bank teller for the American Pride Credit Union.

 She enjoyed shopping with her sisters, collecting Hummel figurines, and baking treats for everyone.

 A private family service was held by Pastor Brian Choi. Interment is at Calvary Cemetery.
