MARGARET E. BLACKBURN
September 16, 1918 — January 27, 2020
Margaret E. Blackburn, 101, of Altoona, passed away peacefully Monday evening at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late John and the late Alice (Clemens) Gates. Her husband, Samuel Robert Blackburn, he preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1989. Survived by two sons: Timothy (Elizabeth) Blackburn of Altoona, and Robert D. (Jean) Blackburn of Phoenix, Arizona. Two grandchildren Candace and Damien and Two great grandchildren Wyatt and Thomas.
She was a Bookkeeper, employed by Campbell, Rea, Hayes and Large Architects. Private inurnment was held at Alto-Reste Park.
