Marie 'Marcia' K. Prorok

She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late John A. and Mary A (Zajdel) Prorok.

Survived by one sister: Joan "Sissy" Riley of Altoona, and brother-in-law Jack E. Brown Jr. Her sister Patricia Brown passed away on September 20, 2023. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews.

Marcia was a member of St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church. Marcia worked for Butterick and Prudential Insurance Office in Altoona before going to Blair County Parole Office.

Marcia received her bachelor’s degree at Penn State University.  Marcia enjoyed shopping, going to Rocky Gap and spending time with her family and friends.

Friends will be received from 5pm to 7pm on today Tuesday September 26, 2023, at the Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc 1204 17^th Street Altoona

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Rose Of Lima, 5514 Roselawn Ave, Altoona, by Father John Lyman.

Private committal Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery.
