Marie E. Slowik

Marie E. Slowik, 60, Altoona, died Monday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Donald and Bernadine (Stonebraker) Authurs. She married Ronald L. Slowik July 27, 2000, in Altoona. She is survived by her husband: two sons: Donald Flory and James Trexler; two stepsons: Samuel Slowik and Ronald L. Slowik II; a stepdaughter, Blinda Slowik; numerous grandchildren; and two sisters: Sharon Caldwell and Mary Jane Plowman. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Robert J. Slowik, April 21, 2008. She enjoyed bingo and sewing. Friends will be received from 6 to the 8 p.m. service today, Feb. 4, 2009, at Stanley J.
