Martha "Marty" Kunkle

Martha V. “Marty” Kunkle, 95, of Altoona, died Monday evening at The Lutheran Home of Hollidaysburg. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Roy and Vera (Boller) Moore.

She married Roy Kunkle on Oct. 15, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1991.

Surviving are two sons: Kelly A. (Vickie) Kunkle of Altoona and Bret (Becky) Kunkle in Alaska; three grandchildren; and a sister, Yvonne (Forrest) Lucas.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded by her brother, Kenneth Moore. 

Marty was a 1945 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. 

She was employed by Hallmark Store as a salesclerk and retired after 25 years of service. 

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be private at Oakridge Cemetery.
