Mary Ann Hofer

Mary Ann Hofer, 91, of Altoona, passed away Monday morning at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab.

Mary Ann was born in Coupon, the daughter of the late John P. and Victoria M. (Vinglas) Koeck. Survived by two sons: Richard D. Hofer, Sr., and Robert J. Hofer, Grandchildren: Josh (Miranda) Hofer; Brittney Hofer; Kelly (Jason) Miller; Richard Hofer Jr. and numerous great grandchildren and a brother: George D. Koeck. Many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her brother, John P. Koeck Jr., daughter-in-law, Milissa Hofer, and grandson, Brock Hofer.

She retired after many years as a manager for Wissinger’s Cleaning Village.

Mary Ann enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, dancing, watching TV and talking on the phone and socializing with her family and friends.

A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. A funeral mass will be held Thursday Oct 2, 2025 at 9:00 am at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament by Monsignor Stanley Carson. Committal will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon.
