Melva Lee Kamoie 81, Altoona, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. Melva was born in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Melvin and Azilee (Johnson) Schucker. She is survived by two sons, Eric and wife, Tabitha, and Brian and wife, Laura; grandchildren: Cara, Julia, Caitlyn and Claire; and a sister, Judy Horton. She was a nurse’s aide for 25 years at Altoona Regional Hospital. At the family’s request, services will be private..
