NORA ELIZABETH GEESEY

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Mazie (Brown) Spidel. She married Boyd Francis Geesey on Feb. 14, 1948, in Hagerstown, Md., and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1995.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna K. Boyer, with whom she resided; a son, Kenneth G. of Altoona; a stepdaughter, Connie Daugherty of Altoona; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Joann Kelley of Seminole, Fla.

Nora was of the Independent Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter and also loved her pets.

At the request of the family, the service will be at the convenience of the family with private interment at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
