Patricia 'Patty' A. Brown

Patricia A."Patty" Brown  81, of Altoona, PA., died Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.

Patty was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Zajdel) Prorok.  She married John E.  Brown Jr. on August 10, 1963, at Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church. 

Survived by her husband: John E, two daughters: Christine M. (Regis) McCloskey and Jennifer L. (Doug) Bagley, one son: John P. (Lori) Brown, Nine grandchildren, Eight Great - Grandchildren.

Two sisters: Marie "Marsha" Prorok and Joan "Sissy" Riley.

Predeceased by her grandson, Evan J. Hileman Jr.

Graduate of Altoona High School Class of 1959, and Altoona Beauty School 1960.

She was a Customer Service representative for Sears Roebuck and was a beautician. Patty was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Patty enjoyed being with her husband John, her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patty enjoyed the beach.

Friends received today September 22, 2023, from 5 to 8 pm at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc., 1204 - 17th Street, Altoona.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 9:30 am at St. Rose Of Lima, 5514 Roselawn Ave, Altoona, by Father John Lyman.

Private committal Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery.
