Phyllis M. Hartman

March 2, 1946 — December 13, 2023

 

 

Phyllis M. (Sponsler) Hartman went to be with the Lord on December 13,  2023.

She passed away at her residence surrounded by friends and family. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the Late  William and Evelyn (Rademaker)  Sponsler.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, a sister Janet Sponsler, her first husband John D. Boyles Sr., her Second husband Gary Hartman, and one grandson John D. Boyles III.

She is survived by her four children: John D. Boyles Jr., Kelly A. (Boyles) Fetter, Kenneth Boyles, and Christopher Boyles. Many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren all of Altoona,  Also many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind all of her beautiful prayer friends at Sacred Heart Church. Her longtime companion David Ross Jr of Tyrone, for whom she has been with for the last 21 years. Her best friends Darlene Denny and Krystal Randolph

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Altoona.

She would like to show recognition to her many organizations she belonged to, the Nocturnal Adoration Society, The Auxiliary Member of The Legion of Mary, Confraternity member at Garvey Manor, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  A former member of Christian Mother Society.

 Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm Sunday December 17, 2023 at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc.  A funeral Mass on Monday December 18, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 am by Father L’ubomir J. Strecok, officiant. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
