RUTH N. WRIGHT

 Ruth N. Wright, 84, of Altoona, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday at her residence. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Edgar and Alda (Wilkinson) Coughenour.

She married Bryan A. Wright on Feb. 27, 1960, in Altoona. He preceded her in death October 2015.

Surviving are three daughters: Bryanna Edwards (James) of Terrell, Texas; Britta Wright of Columbia, Mo.; and Brenda Robinson (fiancé, Tim) of Columbia, Pa.; grandchildren: Wyatt, Olivia and Riley Robinson; step grandchildren, Michelle and Jeremy Edwards, and LaQuiesha Cummings; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Ruth was a member of Grace Alive Ministries and Silver Sneakers. She enjoyed singing, needlework, and spending time with friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at Grace Alive Ministries, 1540 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. (Greenwood Plaza), Altoona.  

Private interment was held at Blair Memorial Park.
