Shaun Ryan McIntyre

Shaun Ryan McIntyre 47, of Altoona passed away Wednesday morning. He was born in Altoona, the son of Donald M. and Shirley A. (Cheslock) McIntyre.

He married Kristy M. Forlina on Oct. 3, 2015, in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife, Kristy; his mother, Shirley; his fur baby dog, Athena; two brothers, Mark (Mark) and Michael (girlfriend, Robin). Shaun had numerous nieces and nephews that he adored, as well as his in-laws, Jeff and Beth Forlina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald “Mac”; and his fur babies, Lexi and Morgan.

Shaun was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School class of 1997, where he won the 75th annual Joe F. Cohen blanket in football.

Shaun was a Bar Manager at Mama Randazzo’s Pizzeria in Altoona.

He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, an avid golfer and the "# 1 bowler."

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service outside of mass on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the funeral home, with Father L`ubomír J. Strecok officiating.

Committal will take place at Alto-Reste Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorial donations be sent to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 (centralpahumane.org).
