SHEILA A. WOJCIK

Sheila A. Wojcik, 66, of Altoona, passed away Sunday morning. 

Sheila was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Chester Lee and the Mildred Grace (Daugherty) Hughes-Thompson. On July 24, 1976, she married Robert J. Wojcik, at the Cathedral of The Blessed Sacrament. Robert preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 2019. 

Surviving are two sons: Craig Wojcik and Stevie Beasom, both of Altoona; a daughter, Bobbi Beasom and Mark Hansen, and granddaughter, Indie, all of Boise, Idaho; three brothers: Chester Hughes, Tom Hughes and Steve Hughes, all of Altoona; and her stepfather, Harry Thompson of Duncansville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jay James.

Sheila enjoyed going to the beach with her family and "spending time with her special friends meant the world to her."

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Chaplain Tim Guyer officiating. Private Committal will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, 144 DePaul Center Road, Greensburg, PA 15601-1253.
