SUZAN M. 'SUE' MARLETT

Suzan M. 'Sue' (DeStefano) Marlett, 63, Altoona, left this earth to be with God early Sunday morning.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Lois Hartman and the late, James DeStefano.

Surviving are a daughter, KayTee Marlett (Dan Guiles); her mother, Lois Clowson; her longtime partner, Dave Moyer; her fur grandson, Maverick; two half-brothers; an aunt; several cousins; and a plethora of friends that she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters: Marian Shirf and Valerie DeStefano; an aunt, Mary Brickner; and her grandparents.

Sue was a 1972 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. She retired from James Van Zandt VA Medical Center.

She loved all creatures’ great and small, attending concerts with family and friends, traveling, gardening, doing kind deeds for others and attending the Annual Dickens of a Christmas event in Wellsboro, with her daughter. Sue was also an active member of Overflow Church, Altoona.

A celebration of Sue’s life will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at Overflow Church, Altoona. Arrangements are by Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona.
