.Theodore "Ted" Nazaruk, 84, Cathedral City, Calif., formerly of Altoona, died Wednesday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Philip and Anna (Stasky) Nazaruk. Surviving are a brother, Maurice and wife Vera of Altoona and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul. Ted was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. Panachida service Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona. Inurnment will be at St. Mary Ukrainian Cemetery.
