Trevor M. Shuma, 41, of Altoona, died Monday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, the son of Donald Michael Shuma and Tina M. (Dixon) Heininger.
Surviving are his father, D. Michael Shuma; his mother and stepfather, Tina M. and Robert Heninger; two sisters, Amber Shuma Pike and Ashley Shuma Thrower; a brother, Corey Shuma; grandmothers, Lorraine Shuma and Charlotte Dixon. Trevor was also survived by his fiancée, Becky Gensamer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Donald Shuma and Dick Dixon; and an aunt, Debra Shuma.
Trevor was a Loss Prevention Detective, employed by Boscov’s.
He enjoyed hunting, collecting baseball cards, and was an avid watcher of all Pittsburgh sports teams. Trevor mostly enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday by Pastor Matt Hornberger.
